PapierLogik is currently shipping from Canada or France to world-wide destinations depending econologic estimates to provide as sustainable produts life-cycle as possible.

Shipping estimates can be evaluated on every product page or on your shopping cart by entering a Shipping location: if we are used to deliver in your area, you will be automatically provided a few shipping options and costs.

If we never had the pleasure to ship to your location, we will ask you for a way to get back to you and it should take just a few days for us to setup a new shipping procedure and provide the estimate.

 

- please review the distributors in your area if you can find a local store to distribute our products.

 

- All of the quoted transit times are in business days, and do not include weekends, US holidays, etc.

 

 

 

Processing & Shipping times

Orders usually ship within 3-5 business days in Europe and North-Amercia. When you place your order, please allow time for processing in addition to the time it takes for the box to get to you once it has shipped. Once your order is shipped you will receive an email or two with any tracking information available -- you can check order status by logging into your account.

We cannot refund shipping fees if your package arrives late due to snow or other natural disasters anywhere along your package's route. Meteors, natural disasters, aliens, terrorism, incursions from other dimensions, etc.

We may not be able to ship to hotels, mail forwarders and/or PO Boxes depending on location or if there are known issues with the location. 

Our customers are responsible for ensuring they provide an identified postal adress and that they will be available for the products receptions. We will not ship twice to a location that could not be delivered and we may in such case reimburse the buyer and cancel the order.

Returns

To arrange for a return use the contact form or email contact@papierlogik.com.

We can only accept returns of unused and kits and products, within 30 days of receipt (for international orders, 30 days from shipment). Any returns after 30 days are in store credit only if the return was approved within 30 days of receipt. Please contact us before returning any package! We're reasonable people and we hope you are too! Contact us if you have any issues and we'll do our best to help you out!

All returns are credited as store credit upon receipt for international orders or for Paypal / Credit card orders after 30 days of payment. There is a 5% re-stocking fee for orders returned valued at $500 or more.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the product arrives damaged or defective.

 

 


Shipping Options

We are responsible and care for ensuring that you will receive a functionnal and undamaged product, whatever the shipping service you select.  We will highly appreciate a feedback from you once you received you product!

Please take some time to check that the package you received was in a good shape, and if not, take some pictures before opening it. You need to make sure that your order is complete and that the products you received are fonctionnal and corresponds to your order. We would highly appreciate you qucikly  

PapierLogik shipping is offered through governental postal services and various local or international carriers, USPS (United States Postal Service), UPS (United Parcel Service) and DHL (Dalsey, Hillblom and Lynn) for the main ones. Il we never shipped to your location, we will need a few days to finalise your quote and try to propose you a delivery solutions.

Do not hesitate to propose us one of your favorite local distributor or shipping process and we will try to check if we can work with them to provide you our resources.

 

Shipping to Individual Locations and identified postal adresses world-wide

Governmental shipping services provide low-cost and fast delivery service through standard letters services for small and thin products. nd There is no tracking system but the shipping is quick (2 to 5 days from delivery notification) unless the post-office is unable to indentify the delivery location or if he can not leave the package in a mail box because of its size.  In case of any shipping issues or delay with the standard letters services, the post office engaged to keep the package and return us the package within 15 days. If possible, he would leave you a note in you mail box to inform you upon the products' arrival.

We keep traces of our delivery to the initial postal services and we can provide such delivery proofs on request. PapierLogik can then not be responsible for an excessive delay, nor for products loss or duiring the shipping process of standard letters services. If you are not used to being delivered from France or Canada at the requested shipping adress and if you cannot guarantee that you would be available for picking the letter or that the postman can for sure leave your mail in a secured box or leave you a note so that you can get it yourself lter at the post-office destination, you may need to select a delivery system offering more guarantee as proposed Below.

Mail Tracking systems: each product can be delivered using optionnal tracking systems provided by the delivery service. This option can considerably increase the cost, especially for small orders. However, this option should be taken if you are not sure about your shipping location or if you are not used to be delivered from France or Canada: this option will indeed ensure the package will not be lost and you would be automatically informed upon its arrival if the postman could not deliver you at its first passage and kept it for you.

 

Shipping to Professionnals and Locations at risk world-wide

If your delivery delays and products are sensitive parameters and you must be insured from delivery loss, you can request higher levels of fast-delivering guarantees and prioritary service managements to receive your product on time and be fully reimbursed from delivery loss.

We do not offer drop shipping or "blind shipment".

 

About our experience with carriers:

  • Except for Inter-Eurpoean Shipping, International Postal Services managed by most Countries as well as  USPS First Class are NOT trackable. Once it has been sent it’s pretty much outside of our control. There is no way to track packages. They are also not guaranteed services.
  • USPS First class mail can take up to 2 weeks. First class mail is low cost and used at your own risk, it is only permitted for orders under $200. Insurance is automatically calculated and added to your order. Lost package claims may be filed between 45 and 90 days after shipment. USPS has experienced many slow downs and delays - here's an overview of what we've seen for some customers.
  • UPS Ground is low cost ground delivery, and is insured and tracked. Delivery time is not guaranteed, but is almost always under 6 days.
  • UPS 3-Day, 2-Day and Next-day are high-speed air delivery, and are insured and tracked. Delivery is guaranteed from when it is picked up and scanned by UPS, not necessarily when it is shipped. We have a daily UPS pickup, Monday through Friday, for same day shipment place orders by 11am ET.

USPS is often cheaper but does not provide detailed tracking. UPS is sometimes faster and more expensive, but has a good tracking system that talks to you by email. We offer DHL Express Worldwide to selected countries across the globe. If DHL shipping is available to your location, the option will show at checkout. We are regularly adding new countries upon new visitors requests , so let us know if you cannot currently be delivered at your location at rodolphe.koehly@papierlogik.com : would you need to be delivered in Mars for a better future, would we at least try to check with Mr Musk if he can help us with that ;-).

 

Shipping cost calculations:

  Dimensional weight may apply to all shipping services and heavy packages or else products having non-standard sizes may lead to high deelivery cost. We then try to design products that will enable to be provided at low-cost for small and light standard sized resources, and we manage efficient and secure delvery packages to protect your products. Our customer services is maintained daily by email by an experieinced and good-willing staff of researchers and students affiliated in France and Canada to help you get the highest pleasure and interest upon your experience with our project's resources.

All these parameters represent functionnal costs that are included in your shipping costs in addition to the standard costs requested by the delivery service. Thus, when being deliverd by Papier Logik you give a part to fund the grant of a student or the pay of a trainee to manage your order and shipping.

 

 


International Orders

Inter-Eurpoean share the same VAT that is included in the price in Euros.

International import may request you to pay your country VAT upon your purchase.You are responsible for any VAT, tariff, duty, taxes, handling fees, brokerage charges, customs clearance charges, etc. required by your country for importing consumer goods! There is no way for PapierLogik (nor for the shipper) to predict your country's customs/fee habits.

UPS, first class and express mail as well as most International postal services today are eligible for these fees, so be prepared to pay full VAT on the fully declared value of your order as well as any customs fees your countries UPS and/or postal system may charge you! There are some services that can estimate the duty/taxes, while they're not 100% accurate they can be helpful (Duty/Tax Calculator). 

Keep a printout of your email receipt as you may have to send a copy to your customs office or for UPS. If you do not pay the required brokerage fees, VAT, tariff, duty, taxes, handling fees, customs clearance charges, etc - we cannot issue any refunds.

 

Our shipping system is completely automated, and we cannot falsify customs forms. The customs forms will accurately describe the contents and cost of your order. We cannot mark orders as "gift", "sample", "educational" or lower the values. PapierLogik makes best efforts to follow all rules, regulations and laws for export compliance.

Custom orders and shipments can be DDP (delivery duties paid), which means we charge all taxes upon checkout. Orders over $2,500 and/or orders with over 25 individual line items do not qualify for our DDP shipping options. We are unable to provide a line by line breakdown of the duties paid upon checkout. Please contact your country's DHL office for that information.
