Inter-Cultural R&D

Papier Logik was at Fab14+, France 11-22 July 2018

Papier Logik was born in 2007 at the Input Device and Music Interaction Laboratory, MusicTech, McGill University, Montréal, Quebec, Canada, under supervision of Prof. Marcelo Wanderley.

Papier Logik Resources have been first explored in France and Australia since 2003 and through a leading scientific research in Europe and North America.

This research on Materials Science and Paper and Printing Enginnering has been applied to the Development of sustainable Hardware resources for the production of Human Computer Interfaces starting with Digital Music Instruments.

The Papier Logik Project aims to provide a full Data Base of Fundamental Konwledge, Know How, Resources and Tools that are linked to our Research and Developments.

These resources can enable anyone to make use of sustainable goods through a variety of Application examples.

We then hope you will find great usage of these project resources to learn, practice, produce, repair hack and re-invent your own custom electronic devices and future technologies.

Sustainable Local Resources and local recycling or reuse of our wastes enable more virtuous products life-cycles, while providing universal access to modern knowledge and technologies:

Paper-based electronics can be locally built over such a scheme everywhere there is a durable access to fundamental resources such as wood or other organic fibres and water.

Thus, basically any country in the world can make clever use of among the oldest and best industrial processes along with our project database to develop local, autonomous and sustainable electronic industries.

Efficient, Educative, Ecologic and Economic! This is the Paper Logik!

Join an International network of a variety of  scholars, designers, researchers, artists, or else just Geeks that already benefit and contribute to this wolr-wide project.

Join local collaborative antennas and provide access to those technologies to ensure an optimised econologik Life-Cycle for this Project.

It is never too late for getting back to studies and the internet can make science easier and more entertaining: the Grow Seeds pages were written to re-initiate you to basic knowledge for a useful and safe practice of electronics.
