Paper-based sensors can be used for instance to detect, quantify and even sometimes measure with some precision a given event, contact or movement. Check out our fabrication guides for more details on how to build them with specialty papers.
One can also build controller or Human Interface Devices that will use sensors to communicate with smart devices, such as DIgital Music Instruments that will send control events to generate or control computer music. This is the most inspiring application to start with isn't it?
