Minimalist Electronic Design

An electronic system requires at least a power source such as a battery (or today RFID antennas), and another element called transmitter that will react to an electronic current flow, such as a light or a buzzer.

Thus, as soon as the pôles of the power source and of the transmitter will be properly connected together into a closed loop circuit made of conductive elements such as metal wires, an electrical current will flow and may feed properly the components if the circuit is design and implemented properly.

Custom design and implementation

When you use a commercial electronic device such, it is supposed to work with a given type of power source such as batteries or a wall AC/DC converter/charger. They will not work or behave properly if you try to use other power sources that would not provide the expected voltage.

Moreover, the inside of you device is often full of a variety of components and quite complex electronic circuits, where every path and components were carefully chosen to produce the final device functionalities.

We provide here minimal basic practice only to understand how to build the simplest but fundamentals circuits examples.

Polarized components such as led will only let the current go through in one direction, and these must be connected in regards with the power source polarity. Other elements such as resistor behave equally if you siwtch the way you connect their pôles

Improved resistors and interrupters: welcome to the world of resistive sensors

Interrupters can be purchased from CHina or they can be custom made easilly and at low-cost with specialty papers or other electrofunctionals plastics or textiles.

The initial research of the PapierLogik project has been to rebuilt a variety of resistive components using experienced electrically conductive paper. These components can be build so as to act as resistors or variable resistors to produce advanced control buttons or sensors
