Meet the sensors

A sensor is an element who converts any type of input energy into an electronic signal. For instance, an on/off interrupter is a sensor that changes an electronic signal when switched: if it is switched on, it closes the circuits and enable it to work. If it is switched off, it opens the circuits and the current can not flow any more between the power source poles.

Using various sheets of semi-conductive and insulating papers and metal adhesive for connectors, it is easy to buit oneself various types of sensors to detect different kind of gestures: force or pressure, position and displacement or else flexion or traction.
